Hi ysteb1 I found a tile that looks like a light beach style hardwood from National Tiles. They are long (1200mm) and narrow but I think the look will be nice. They are suitable for a bathroom so going to try them out.

Thanks robandlyn. I see what you mean about the black. I initially thought that too but when I put a black sample up against the tiles it looked quite harsh against the 'softness' of the tile. The tiles have natural undertones and some brown/natural coloured flecks through them and I thought a browny colour would tie in and add warmth. But I'm open to others' opinions!!

Hello Christine Can you quickly photograph all the finishes, eg floor/wall tiels and the colour of the white stone vanity top. Without seeing the actual shades of colour it is a little bit of a shot in the dark. However, reading that you have a pearl white stone vanity top, I would be inclined to NOT have a white vanity, unless you are confident that the two whites work well together. The clue to the choice of the woodgrain is finding a woodgrain with a touch of the colour of the mud tiles, and/or the creamy eggshell tile on the other walls. In this way, you will create a link between the different finishes and textures. The white benchtop will tie in with the white of the WC, handbasin etc. I hope this helps. Take a big breath! Hi Maria, I see what you mean as I too had blackbutt floors laid and was surprised to see mostly red and not the lighter blackbutt that I was expecting and I have grey floor tiles that butt up to the floor as shown here in these two photos. The difference being that they are two separate zones and yours is one zone. I would suggest a lighter grey on the walls and perhaps a mirror above the basin that has the same wood tone above. Everything then should compliment each other.
