I have had my kitchen area painted with Dulux Cowardly Custard half strength walls for years now and I love it and never tire of it. I love how cheerful and clean the rooms always look and the colour is not overpowering. Other areas in my home have walls in green and aqua blue and the three colours mix together well and stronger shades of yellow can be mixed with it also. I have just redone the kitchen cupboards and did them in Cowardly Custard too with white benchtop and white glass mosaic tiles and my small kitchen looks so much bigger now. A pale colour will not make a room look smaller.

We went with Monument and I am delighted. I was worried about it making the house hotter, but not at all as we added some extra insulation while the roof was lifted. We look over our roof to Mt Dandenong and it really feels like we are floating above the rooftops now (previously had a lighter color). I have also noticed there is far less glare being darker. Pic below is not my best shots ... but you get the idea. Forgot to add we also have a flat cliplock roof and used a combination of Monument and Dune on the house.

If you dont want a cream or white colour but want to keep it neutral you could pick out the taupe colour that is also in your tile and paint this colour on the wall. Alternatively if you want to add a bit more colour to the bathroom then a blue/green colour such as light teal or a softer tone such as Duck Egg or Eau De Nil would really compliment the beige tiles.

Perhaps try Lyttelton Quarter.. or even better, choose your tile first and select the paint to work with the tile :)
