I agree with ctwalker, if you paint the inside of your front door white it will blend with the inside of your house especially as the door is in your lounge. On the outside a stain will look great and if you keep a path going to your front door people won't have trouble wondering where to go. All the work your doing looks fantastic keep up the good work :)

Hi, gloria wood I find that Dulux Natural White can look too stark. Pictured, we have used: White exchange half (which has more of a grey/beige undertone) Lexicon half (for the skirting, doors and trims).

You can still buy flush panel timber veneer doors, and have them stained to match the existing architraves. If the door hardware is in good condition you may be able to re-use it. When replacing bedroom doors I always suggest to my clients to see if the budget will stretch to solid core doors as they are more durable and better at stopping sound transmission. Agree with bigreader, if you do go with a rug get a low cut pile so footprints won’t show, it will be a bit of a challenge for you, an outdoor rug could look beautiful, there are some fabulous designs available and they would wear well with foot traffic.
