Double or single vanity/ sink for ensuite ?
Comments (10)Faye, If you were lucky enough to have your proposed wall hung toilet on an outward facing wall, then future access could be achieved from outside but since that's probably highly unlikely, then I'd agree with haephestus that you can get some lovely flush wall toilets. Case in point, I'm having a spa bath and it is on an outside wall so I'm having access to the pump by way of a neatly made door in the external brickwork, save ever having to pull up tiles or similar in the future, or the very least making an unatractive access door in the bathroom. If something can go wrong, then it will go wrong unfortunately, murphy's law!!! Good luck with your project. Cheers, Barbara...See MoreHelp!! Comments (46)@mlk01, You are right about the message button, I have it on my profile but no one else seems to so that's odd! If you click on my profile for example, you will see on the top line right beside the profile picture: Your house, Ideasbook, Bookmarks, Activities, Messages. In fact I remember that when anyone typed a reply like I'm doing now, you used to be able to click a "private" button, which meant only the person you were typing to saw your comment. Perhaps Houzz can answer these anomalies?? I'm not on Facebook or Twitter, never got into it and have no reason to do so anytime soon ha-ha As for talking privately to someone, you could post your email address here as could oklouise and delete it whilst you are still able to edit, as I've done once in the past. Just not sure how long the edit feature lasts....See MoreWhat size sink for double vanity?

Comments (22)Hi there Not at all, I liked that your sister had a good idea, but can see where you are coming from. Bunnings has had a fairly recent addition to their bathroom vanities, lovely wall hung with drawer and gorgeous slim benchtop. You mentioned that there was a cupboard behind the opened bathroom door, could that be updated for linen storage. In this current layout, the shower is run towards the door with the shower and taps on the outside wall, this helps to direct water away from your large sash window. The shower would be narrow across and longer on the left wall. The whole bathroom floor tiled the same and where I have a short wall that could be a glass screen? I have added a 400 wide full height linen cabinet but if you were to use the other cabinet for bathroom storage you could certainly have a longer vanity with either one or two drawers. This with the mirrored shaving cabinets should give you lots of extra space cheers...See MoreFontaine Industries
