I personally think that if you go with a corner lounge in this area it will take up a lot of space the rooms that Luke has shown...sorry Luke cut they are way bigger that 2.9 x 3 meters. but if you could get a small modular as Luke says you can separate the pieces that could work. You don't say how old the kids are.... If you have young kids you could get away with things like bean bag chairs and individual seating. I would put shelving and around the TV which I would install in the middle of the blue wall which can be open backed so you can still see the blue wall...and for small kids...use the cane basket and for the big kids...leave it open for their cds and consoles and things. Just think about installing a couple of power points into this unit...Kids always need them. Hope this helps...Robyn

I love the IKEA Expedit storage units that you can add on top of each other (or just get the big 5x5 one). but the photo with the wall shelves might be better for you to put siliding doors in front of it

Hi Liz. Thank you for getting in touch and I am glad you like the design. It was a risk putting pale upholstery on the bench seating, but the fabric is scotch guarded and the owners have had little problem with the fabric. The fabric can be laundered, however to remain in shape and to retain its quality, it is best to be dry cleaned, which the owners were happy to do if and when needed. I don't have photos of the remainder of the room available at this time, however the opposite side of the room features built in wardrobes along the wall and a bed. Essentially in the middle of the room is a large rug and some large flat cushions offering plenty of room for the child to play with his toys. I hope this information helps.
