Living Room Size

Hi All
We are currently planning an extension to our house (west facing) to add in a 4th bdr/study, whilst also maintaining two seperate living rooms. We have received our drawings from the Draftsman, and conceptually we’re happy with everything, however I’m still trying to determine if the new living room will be big enough. This room will be more of the kids living room, with adults in the front of the house, but now is the time to determine if we need to go another meter deep, or if this room will be sufficient for a 3.5 modular, room to circulate and in front of the tv for toys. Would appreciate any advice on the size and layout of room, the only real non negotiable is the large opening on the west side of room as this will lead into the alfresco. Currently, we envisage having the tv on the south side wall. Appreciate any advice! (Existing and proposed photos attached)
