Hi there, thanks for checking out our projects! You always want to have a wood deck on posts, elevated off the ground, with weed barrier, drainage, and gravel. It’s very important to get air flow under the deck so that the wood doesn’t ”cup” or warp due to one side being hotter and /or more moist. I hope that helps. Good luck on your project!
