If tiles in shower in good order I'd replace shower screen as suggested above so lose door as enough drainage can have walk in and semi frame less btw shwr head and loo and replace loo with more compact one - check how far extend from wall some 750mm some 650mm and have back to wall can get new loo fir $400 (aspire Range burdens stock) and then lose cupboard go for shelves and see if can semi recess a mirrored shave cabinet and just retile area outside of shower stall a harmonious colour prob mid grey

Hi there, tiles on the floor of a bedroom? It sounds a bit cold underfoot unless you are having underfloor heating installed, but then perhaps you are renovating in warmer climes than where I live! I would recommend going for a matte or satin finish in the bedroom as the gloss could look a little sterile.also If you have a connecting ensuite, you wouldnt want to run the risk of slipping on the floor if you have wet feet :o

Yes the old "Have to step into the bath to open or close window" dilemma! Maybe a small pod bath or free standing one that would sit onto tiled floor would be better: make the room look bigger too. There is room for it but if it is not huge you will be able to slumber into it and step beside it to reach window. Nice amount of space for a bathroom and looks like it might have a long outlook too? I think the windows date the house moreso than the gutters . As Julie says , go dark for those , the rest falls into place . You could do a light gutter/trim ( any off-white -- I like surfmist as it has a bluish tinge ) with the darker roof and windows , or keep it dark like Monument . I love bright sunny front doors , but here it isn't seen until you get to within 2 metres , so IMO its less impactful . BUT the door that is noticed is the garage -- so my combo here would be Surfmist , with Monument gutters and windows -- it breaks it up . Monument on the garage would be too heavy , and red, Yellow or Orange would be too much with the bricks , not a fan of Blue or Green with thjose bricks either . One other combo though , more expensive , would be the lighter trim ( Surfmist gutters and even windows ) with a cedar or Jarrah or similar wooden garage tilt or sectional door -- it's hard to tell in the photo , but the existing door looks like it may be starting to 'swell' a bit in the middle ? If it is , thats the logical fix -- add class and upgrade it and bring in the warmth of wood .
