Where are the white walls, they look cream and sage on my computer? Your kitchen cabinets look white. Same white for doors and trims but in a gloss paint.

When we built our home 15 years ago I had the doors painted the same colour as the walls - geisha white. It never dated and helped the house feel uncluttered and consistent throughout. We are now renovating and after trialling several whites have repainted with Dulux Caspar white quarter throughout including doors. It is a beautiful crisp white that does not throw blue or pink in our north and south facing rooms. With new wood floors we now have skirting boards that are also CWQ in a gloss. The angle of the skirts and gloss finish makes them seem the tiniest bit lighter than the walls but as they are the same colour they work together beautifully.

Thank you for all your help. One more question, with regards to the roof and the decorative corner bits, do I paint them the same colour as the walls or another colour?

I would go with ceiling white on ceiling and same colour as walls for trim. If you are talking about the dado rail you could do that in a gloss to match the skirts if it is made of wood.

Agree. Ceiling paint is flat no sheen and thicker to minimise drips.
