Wow, what a stunning façade design and what a great spot to be building. Your decision to consider COLORBOND® Woodland Grey for roofing, gutter and fascia is a great option. It is modern and grey but throws a warm base it blends beautifully into any natural surround. A mid grey render option is COLORBOND® Windspray which will also reflect the beachside setting of your block. White windows would work however COLORBOND® Surfmist is a more subtle way to get a light window colour without the starkness of a pure white. It also works beautifully with the grey tones of the COLORBOND® Windspray. I would also consider COLORBOND® Surfmist for the garage door to match the windows. Lastly I would tie the roofing colour back in by rendering the porch section in COLORBOND® Woodland Grey. Less colours is better for a façade so if we can use a colour for more than on application like windows and garage door, roof and porch render it looks more cohesive. We hope that helps. Thank you so much, Julie. I thought you would be interested in the end result, given how much encouragement and advice you so generously gave me. :-) I do love it. It has made such a difference and I think (fingers crossed) the landscaping will give it the finishing touch. We are reroofing the pergola, so will post photos when that is completed. The gazebo looks great after its facelift, too.

Maybe paint facials white and put some white cladding in front gable so eye drawn to that not windows not a blue tinged white eg not dulux lexicon but warm white to go with cream blinds eg natural or polar white or grand piano 1/4 strength would also go nicely with woodland Grey and jasper - cb basalt also goes nice with woodland Grey maybe go 1/2 strength on walls as it’s a nice neutral black/Greywhixh would detract from purple tinge

Hi, You've received some great ideas above, and definitely landscaping will play a pivotal role in softening the facade of your house and providing street appeal. As you are looking to sell it's important to look to the street your building on and the colours of the houses around you too. Will you be having the front facade fully rendered as above? If so keep the tones neutral to appeal to a wider market. This size house is probably going to appeal to a professional couple which means they will want something with not too much maintenance. A colorbond roof is a great choice for security and ease of maintenance. Choosing a charcoal like Monument for your roof and gutter adds depth. Consider Surfmist for the Fascia as this will lift and lighten the front. For the Front Portico Piers I would choose a contrasting render colour to add depth to the design. Your window frames should match your roof. If you do an Aluminium framed front door this colour will be the same as your windows and you would want to match your front door to it. If you do a timber front door frame you can paint your front door and frame the same colour. which will be more consistent and appealing to the eye. I wouldn't suggest doing anything too wild colour wise for your front door as you have a narrow facade and it will polarise buyers. Keep your garage door as close as you can to your render colour to give your facade the illusion of size. An exposed aggregate driveway in a colour such as Labassa would pull it all together. Depending on where you are building, the other consideration is Developer Guidelines. If you are doing a knock down rebuild this won't affect you, however if you building in a new estate your Developer may require you to stick to a colour palette they have created.
