New Build Colour Selection help please

We are in process of finalising our new build and I am having difficulty with the external colours (1 of many choices)!. Would you lovely people be able to advise if the following would be achievable at all ? I am a bit stumped as to what to do with the brickwork/cladding and render to achieve something similar..thanks and appreciate any input..

Not sure how it comes up in vinyl planks but i chose spotted gum ( Quickstep Readyflor) and am thrilled with the look. The large range of colours through the floors means it suits a range of timbers and furnishing colours. Good luck with your choosing

Hi Jasmine, I just want to ask you a couple of things re details in the plan an will post showing my concerns. Along the back wall, change the wall/panel on both sides of the fridge to 20, the wall would be approx 90?, this will give you an extra 70 space to play with, this would also balance the built in fridge between both sections of cabinets. As it is your designer has used the wall on the left of the fridge to line up with the wall of the proposed pantry, but I feel this isn't needed the panels will do a better job..without taking up more space and not looking so bulky. So now you will have extra to play with and could consider 900 x 2 drawers plus 900 cooker. What is the corner cabinet, it looks like having one door opening along the window wall? I have an 800 sink cabinet which has 2 x 400 doors which are perfect as they don't open out so wide into the room. would it be better to move the DW to the other side of the sink so as not to block access. 900 space at the end of the island is too tight and should be at least 1m The wall cabinets above the cooktop, are they all single cabinets?, it is more cost effective to use double, I ask this because the plan shows that two single or two double cabinets will be involved in installing the intergrated range hood.

The white letterbox , and the shrubs , looks really nice . But do you want your bedroom to look like the inside of an esky ? The roof is white , surely you want some colour somewhere on the walls ? The existing walls look a creamy beige , the blind looks beige , the curtains look a fawny beige . Maybe I'm oldschool , but I like 1 wall as a feature wall with at least some colour , and the rest a plainer version of that . For example , I have a warm blue room , with slightly darker wallpaper on the wall behind the headboard ( heading towards a royal blue ) with a gold stripe around 5mm wide , and then a light blue and another gold stripe only about 1mm wide either side of that ( well , 6-8mm away ) . That probably sounds like something your gran would have had , but it actually looks modern , and interesting . And again they aren't trendy any more , but the blinds are warm natural wood venetians . I'm definitely not suggesting that , nor ruling it out , but IMO any white room outside an art gallery is lacking life , lacking colour , lacking imagination -- even if you add some colourful art or duvet colour ( I think you Aussies call them dooners ? ) or rug , its still a white base .

my previous post was to illustrate how much space there is around your house for a generous 4 bed 2 bath 2 living area plans (i used my own house plans to avoid breaching any copywright) but here is so much land left over that i can't fit the imnage into a readable post and i've had a look at your new plan and it looks good for your wish list but do you want 4 bedrooms and drive through access to the backyard or space for a pool and/or a pool house or separate workshop or mancave and, before considering this plan you need to check with local council if they will approve the garage at the front of the block...usually councils prefer that the garage is further back than the entry but itm i will consider some ideas for you

Your plan looks to only have bricks on the pillars ? If you want your house to be similar to your inspirational pic , you need to copy most features IMO .

So bricks 300-400mm up the walls , windows that have 6 panes each ( or look like they have ) , either white or glass front door and garage door ( your's says timber for the entrance , can't see what the garage is ? ) and then approx replicate the colours -- the white , the grey , the blue .

Basically , you are wanting a Hamptons look ( which could become dated in much the same way as say 'Colonial' did in the 70's -- that was a similar white and blue theme ) , so you need a whole approach or it could very well look like a mash up .

Thanks for your feedback and yes my biggest fear is having a hodgepodge mess at the end of it all. I just love the look of the finished house but maybe our plan will not be compatible with achieving these results.

Ask your draftsperson to match your inspiration pic, reducing the height of brick walls.

I would start at reducing the amount of render. Your plan is showing all the common bricks are rendered on the whole house including the front piers. add the brick feature on piers and house, as per your inspiration picture. As at the moment you do not have any brick which is not rendered, therefore nothing like your inspiration picture. But this will cost more I suspect.

And you are having colorbond roofing not tiles.
