Hi Renae, thanks for using our photo in relation to the black and white cabinet work. I think that the black/white is certainly a time-less look, you will be able to add any colour with it as trends change. The client worked with a satin 2PAC on this job, we do not recommend a matt 2PAC as it will give a chalkboard appearance. Another point to note is that the black may show any chips easier while the paint is still curing, so be sure to get a pot of touch up paint for any small incidents. Thanks all. The kitchen has a window above the sink and a 4.5m stacker door adjacent so the black should be ok. Have decided to go with the black - for back run lower cabinetry and adjacent oven tower Island to be 20mm Cloudburst concrete with white under. . Remaining decisions: Waterfall to one end of island or all just overhang? rear benchtop will be Dekton (porcelain) - black OR a lighter/grey which ties in with the cloudburst??? Decisions, decisions,.......

I have timber on island and laminate on rest and am happy with that. Would need to tonal,y match so it is your choice of timber or stain.

We have used black carcasses for a black and wood kitchen. Looks great and everything is easy to find. Cost an extra $1000 on the total reno but absolutely worth it imo. The white would look cheaper especially when pulling out the black drawers to see the stark white inside. We also opted for dark drawer runners.
