Help with color of chair and lamps
Comments (17)I agree with both DreamHomeinkz & Rebecca. Go with a more neutral patterned traditional fabric for the chair, add a headboard to your bed with the same fabric, or if not the headboard, purchase taller lamps & shades to give a more overall "height" to the room. See some examples below that can be purchased right on Houzz.com (FYI, the 31" Ode to Bird's Nest: There are only 4 left) [houzz=] [houzz=] [houzz=] [houzz=] [houzz=]...See MoreLiving room dilemma!!!!!!! Comments (6)Florence Broadhurst patterns are available in both fabric and wallpapers. Florence Broadhurst Available in graphic and bold or eclectic patterns you could consider patterned fabric blinds on the 3 windows and use the same in the kitchen window. Another use could be behind a glass spashback above the kitchen bench. Her modern designs from the 1960's are vibrant and eclectic and are widely available. All of these could be used with the right injection of orange, turquoise and teal to accent the kitchen and tie the rooms together. There are also rugs available in Florence Broadhurst design if you wanted to keep the pattern on the floor and you could add some shutters on the 3 windows for a different look in either whte or charcoal/black....See Morestyling dilemma
Comments (8)It would be great if you could send more pics of the room. The pattern on chair and cushion is pretty. I would take the cushion when you shop. Probably plain block coloured cushions would be best. You may consider deeper blues, greys or a mustard. Hard to advise on a rug and coffee table without seeing the whole space....See MoreOpen plan space dilemma
Comments (33)I would move couch away from wall and place lamp in between it and wall, I'd then move dining table a bit back towards wall. I'd put a table behind couch. I don't think you'd need a chair in corner of you did this. need Need photos of the right hand side of room to see if this works....See Morelittlethommo2 .
