1/ get Roman blinds for the windows installed onto the ceiling.. 2/ change the carpet to floor boards and a nice light rug.. 3/ repaint the room ..looks quite dark and creamy there 4/ get rid of the clutter by getting a built in unit for TV and do away with your tables and coverings 5/ keep the chest/trunk as a coffee table 6/ rearrange your lounge suite into an L shape.. 7/ if you really want to get rid of the lounge suite make it uncomfortable to sit on..I'd put slits into it accidentally lol the dogs fault? lol he'll come around or I'd pretend someone else needed it more than you so gave them away..lol that's how I get to buy new stuff for the apartment ..I slowly stow them to the beach house then from beach house they get given away lol

Thanks oklouise,kids bedrooms done essentially have to have walk in robes, could be double cupboards ect just need loads of storage. I was thinking a minimum of 3.5x3.5 for kids rooms. I'm not fussed on the size of study just enough for there to be computer/ storage for act and crafts, could even double as small toy room till kids are older. Access through lounge would be ok, I would have to talk to my partner for his thoughts. The garage must be at least 6.5x 6.5. Laundry needs a lot of storage and bench space. I have parrots so incubators/baby parrots and food will also be kept in there. Kitchen needs a walk in pantry but not that keen on a butlers, has to be good for entertaining I cook a lot for myself and others for work. I also have a lot of cooking appliances. So overall the house needs lots of storage haha. I'm under strict instruction that nothing can be kept in his 18m x 18m shed haha.

Without extra info, the following suggestions, I have been a bit concerned that your existing family room could be dark without being opened up to the old kitchen dining living room, 1. places the kitchen back in the old position using existing water etc, replacing the wall with a long island and the old family room becomes a Media/Living. double cavity doors between the new kitchen and new media room. Keeping the large island separate from the wall will allow for foot traffic not having to actually go through the kitchen 2. Move kitchen into old family, opening up part of the wall between it and the bedroom for more space and light. A barn door to close off the laundry cupboard and bathroom from the kitchen would look lovely

I would do the window wall only. The tile will be seen as soon as you enter bathroom. The entire vanity wall in these tiles, would be too much in my opinion.
