over capitalising on windows

Hi all, I’m looking for some advice on replacing windows. We have a two storey house with cedar windows. I’m thinking of replacing them all with new white aluminium windows with wider architraves to help freshen and modernise the look. All up we have about 15 windows to replace. Quotes are coming in around the $40k-$50k (Aus). My question is, is it worth it? I don’t want to over capitalise. Any thoughts? Any idea on how much value it would add? Not an easy question to answer I know as all sorts of market conditions to consider. Not looking to sell at the moment but that may change in a few years time. Thanks all for your thoughts.
