Hi Cecblake, Once your satisfied with your layout, you can firmly stick the postcards onto paper and fix or wrap it to the wall with a good quality double sided sticky tape, a generous strip across the top and bottom to hold it in place. Then apply the pre drilled Perspex over it ensuring you have left a 5mm border around the outside edge of the paper and screw it in (screwing into a stud or using plaster board screws if not) Perspex prices vary depending on the thickness, size and quality. It is a durable and flexible material but avoid using it in a high traffic volume area, for example foot level as it is prone to scratching. Look at some affordable examples in your local hardware store to begin with, I suggest a 3mm sheet which can be easily wiped clean, keep the postcards protected it can be replaced later with higher quality if your satisfied with your look. (Tip : apply the double sided tape straight onto the wall firmly, only removing the second strip when your ready to fix your paper to it. Also do not stick onto the Perspex, this way you can easily remove it or replace it later if you choose and still keep your postcard template undamaged.) I would vote for the top example here. Itr gives an earthy tone to the room and yet is still bright and wont show every piece of dust or food.

Hi Myriam so it sounds like you have decided on white cabinets, I agree that there are many shades of white and its imperative that you consider the undertone, as some will throw yellow and others blue or pink. A warm white is 'Dulux natural white not stark. Another white worth considering is Dulux Whisper white. Light also has a huge impact on colour that being natural or artificial light, good idea to pick up some sample chips from the local hardware or paint store and hold them in the room where the kitchen will be to gain perspective on how the white will look. The 2 whites I have suggested are very safe whites that should look fantastic regardless. This kitchen I used whisper white cabinets and walls are painted natural white (bulkhead) main island bench has a marble Calcutta Oro slab although different to Nobel grey gives you an idea of a "marble affect with the colour of the cabinets). We have used black carcasses for a black and wood kitchen. Looks great and everything is easy to find. Cost an extra $1000 on the total reno but absolutely worth it imo. The white would look cheaper especially when pulling out the black drawers to see the stark white inside. We also opted for dark drawer runners.
