Where can I buy a good quality modular sofa in Sydney ?
Comments (7)Thank you I visited a few stores in Sydney , bo concepts, king furniture , project 82 and finally jimmy possum and decided on the Massimo and Milmo sofa with ottoman from jimmy possum, many reasons, not only because of the impeccable quality of the sofas and the fact it's Austrlaian made, but after visiting the store twice my husband would fall asleep instantly whilst sitting on them, and that to me was the clincher. Very happy with the staff and service from Jimmy Possum located at Moore Park , Sydney. So excited, 8 weeks to go......See MoreLove this table - Where can I find it?
Comments (6)I didn't notice the leather @Neryl Hollingsworth! It's a chair-table hybrid it seems. My friend took this at a gallery some where, and we've been trying to track the piece down ever since!...See MoreIs this a federation house and how can I best design it?
Comments (12)the verandah is a critical aspect to the original - I'd advise against altering or removing it- it adds dimension and character to the facade/form. I'd recommend any potential alterations/additions (if ever/being entertained) to be contained to the rear and respect/retain existing character that is contributory to the significance of the style of the building. Perhaps consolidate some ideas/goals and then seek some preliminary advice from a professional who is familiar/experienced (and respectful) to the building type you're working with....best of luck with it :) PD...See MorePicking a sofa set with an extreme design challenge

You are looking for the 2 sofas to relate to each other rather than matchy matchy? My preferred look too. You could use the same sofa in different shades, that's an easy get together. Or decide on one being more of a standout - like a mid century style wooden sofa with leather cushions, and then keep the other one simple. The top photo is that mid century style and the bottom shows a sofa that would coordinate with it. (similar wood legs and square edges). I know it's in fabric but it comes in leather. And it shows you what 2 of the same sofa in different colours would look like (both leather of course)....See Morekorriem
