The green and black Asian inspired chest is the focal point. We added all of the molding and replaced the existing handrails spindels with new rectangular ones also adding moldings to the ceiling to provide some interest to the large expanse of ceiling.

Interiors Unleashed
The entry of this home is functional. The chest has plenty of drawers for keys and gloves... Since there is no entry closet, the bench on the right is the perfect place for guest coats, should someone actually wear one. A wall hook holds purses and umbrellas. An Asian style planter serves as an umbrella stand, umbrellas are a necessity in the summer. The brighter light entry paint contrasts with the red paint of a small hall, making it seem darker. The main house is off to the side from which we are viewing, which shows up much brighter and more welcoming than the small hall.
