The living room is screened off from the entry way with a terracotta tile screen. In the afternoon sun coming through the screen creates a beautiful pattern on the concrete floor.

A custom D1 Entry Door flanked by substantial sidelights was designed in a bold rust color to highlight the entrance to the home and provide a sense of welcoming. The vibrant entrance sets a tone of excitement and vivacity that is carried throughout the home. A combination of cedar, concrete, and metal siding grounds the home in its environment, provides architectural interest, and enlists massing to double as an ornament. The overall effect is a design that remains understated among the diverse vegetation but also serves enough eye-catching design elements to delight the senses.

The front door opens onto a vestibule featuring dark oak floors. A contemporary Italian pendant fixture hangs over the entryway. An oversized leaning mirror adds depth to the room. A custom wall-hung console is adorned with a Murano hand-blown vase from Micucci.. All the artwork throughout this home was carefully curated with a San Francisco-based gallery.

An enclosed vestibule is the ideal space to be closed, saving on electrical bills and extra dirt coming in from the exterior elements, Have fun with this small space. By adding wainscoting and wall paper.
We’ve even added an element of bling. By incorporating Chrystal door handles to the entry double door closet. It’s important to have a glass French door so as to bring in the natural light and to make the space feel bigger. An over sized area rug is a must. But don’t spend too much money on it as you will most likely need to change it every few years.
Hooks and mirrors are always nice for that extra Touch Of Class.

Color: Genoa White Oak registers at 1360 on the Janka Hardness Scale so it is durable and scratch resistant. White Oak hardwood flooring is a great option for high traffic areas such as entryways, hallways, and kitchens. The tree’s name is a bit of a misnomer since White Oak’s heartwood ranges from tan to brown. However, it is for the most part lighter than Red Oak with a tighter, straight grain pattern. When White Oak flooring is paired with modern design, the result is a calm and clean atmosphere.
