Pippa's heritage background was influential in our approach, her knowledge aided in getting approval to do more than we thought we could with a Heritage listed building. Craigs detail in planning our modern but sympathetic extension was excellent. They were always available and would drop everything to help when needed. “It is a pleasure to be able to recommend Greg Bond of Atelier Bond to provide architectural design services. We worked closely with Greg to design our family home and recently moved in! The brief was to design an upgrade and extension to an early 1900s villa preserving the character of the original home at the same time linking it to a modern open plan extension to meet the needs of a young family. Greg was thorough in his ground work to understand our needs and wants and provided innovative suggestions to maximise space and light and minimise cost. Greg provided advice regarding the Council approval process and when we faced difficulties with Council approval (due to poor handling of the application by Council) Greg provided fantastic support to get the approval for the design we wanted. Greg was flexible, patient and responsive and, importantly, upfront and transparent in relation to fees. Greg's attention to detail and commitment to ensuring we ended up with a high quality home that meets our needs was evident from day one and continued even beyond the scope of his formal engagement as he kept a close eye on our builder! We are absolutely loving our "new" home and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Atelier Bond.”

“We went to Helen to design and project manage our home renovation and extension after seeing the fabulous job Helen did on the house of a friend of ours. Our friends also spoke highly of Helen's professionalism and design knowledge and practice and said they had thoroughly enjoyed the whole project, including the actual build, which was one of the only times I've ever heard that said about a renovation! We are about to start the actual renovation/extension in the next month and to date, we've had the same experience as our friends. Helen has been a pleasure to work with and we have absolute faith in her as a person and as an architect. She listens to our input whilst maintaining an expert's direction over the brief, guiding and advising and arguing her point as and when she needs. Another real plus has been that Helen is also a qualified interior designer so she's designed and drawn up all our internal structures/fittings e.g. the kitchen design. It feels like the project has had an ease and consistency of vision because of that. We are very much looking forward to the next stage of the building process. We actually put this all off for years as we'd heard so many negative stories about 'building'. We only finally took the plunge once we'd found Helen and I can honestly say I am not concerned about it since we have Helen project managing.”

“We are indebted to Don Iannicelli and the team at Glasshouse Projects for this magnificent result! The original brief was very challenging: an outdoor entertainment area with a resort feel, yet complimentary to the Adelaide Hills landscape. We wanted to entertain large numbers all year round - in spite of the foothill gully winds. The space needed to integrate a pool and bar as an integral part of the design. From the start, Glasshouse impressed us with creativity and professionalism, coming up with an ingenious 'pavilion' design, which, turned the most difficult aspect of the job, a very sharp incline, to its best advantage, giving the whole entertainment area three dimensional depth. Glasshouse Projects confidently dealt with the construction phase. No aspect of the design was too difficult and it was refreshing to see how quickly and professionally they handled issues. The final result? Well, pictures do not do it justice and 'magnificent' is an understatement. We have been entertaining non-stop, even in the cooler months, and the space works wonderfully - everything from relaxing meals, to business parties and large family get togethers. We just love spending time in this space! Many, many thanks to Don and the team at Glasshouse Projects for a great job. Well done!”

“James was very professional, punctual, informative and helpful. He removed a lot of stress and complication by dealing with council for approvals throughout the design phase of our extension. We knew mostly what we wanted to do but James was able to provide some valuable insights and ideas for us. His quote as an architect was very competitive among other quotes we received from draftsmen. The builder we engaged for our project commented that our plans were some of the best he had seen for an extension - which sounds like a pretty good compliment to me. We would recommend James to anyone looking for an architect.”

“We had the architects look at the 15 acre block before we purchased it. We needed to know if we could include an old stone cottage in the design. They then came up with some concept plans, one of which we chose to build. They were excellent at embracing the view, landscape and original cottage. They were always approachable and receptive to our ideas. We had seen some of their previous work which we liked. We would not hesitate in recommending them. Completion expected May 2020”
