Cathi and her team specialise in residential architecture for busy women who recognise the need to change their home, but don't have the time, energy or skills to do it themselves. Whether you need to renovate, create a new home, or adapt an existing apartment interior for you and your lifestyle, we are here to discover, innovate, and create the perfect oasis for you and the way you want to live, be nourished, and get on with living. We are a Melbourne based design studio that specialises in creating unique environments that encourage good health, that inspire the soul, and does not cost the earth. We approached Cathi and her team to help us redesign an outdoor living/pool area. Despite the challenge of a sloped block and a large existing native tree, they were able to provide us with advice, project assistance and a functional design that met our brief in a timely and professional manner. We were very happy with the work that they did for us and were impressed with their ability to really understand our desired outcome, budget constraints and preference for maximising natural light, limiting the impact on the environment and creating a practical, family friendly space.

Working with Cathi and her team on photographing their beautiful Fitzroy North project was absolutely smooth sailing. Everything was well co-ordinated both in the lead up to and on the day of the shoot, which ensured we got a fantastic result. Clear communication throughout the process made working together easy and enjoyable. It was a pleasure shooting this gorgeous space and I can imagine the client delighting in their new home for a long time to come.

I have photographed a couple of Cathi Colla's projects since 2014. Cathi's work is easy to photograph because she creates spaces that are light, airy and pleasurable to be in, whilst also meeting the needs of her clients. Her skill as an architect is clearly shown by the enjoyment her clients show in their finished house, and her thoughtful nature is evident the good relationships she forms with her clients. Cathi is an excellent client to work with.

We could not have been more pleased with the end result of our renovation designed by Cathi Colla architects. The renovation design achieved all our goals within our limited budget, giving us greater indoor space, bringing much more light into our home and creating a spacious outdoor living area. The renovation has significantly increased the potential sale value of our home by much more than it cost us. Cathi introduced us to an excellent builder who was easy work with and managed the project exactly according to the estimated time line. We have no hesitation in recommending Cathi Colla architects to others planning to either build or renovate homes in the Melbourne area.

Cathi Colla was the architect for a project which I was appointed builder. I found Cathi very easy to work with and her plans and specifications clear and easy to understand. Cathi's understanding of the building process and various materials to be used helped this project run smoothly, resulting in the clients being very happy with the end result which was delivered on time and budget. I would recommend to Cathi to anyone thinking about a building project in the future as someone who can deliver on their expectations.

We engaged CCA to design, plan document and project manage our home renovation and extension. Our 2 bed, modest Californian bungalow was transformed into a bright and light, 4 bed family home with dual living spaces. We had some planning challenges which CCA helped us navigate through. We are thrilled with the end result.
