“It is a pleasure to write a testimonial for Stephensen Constructions. My house was built in 1903 and very little had been done in the following century. Stage 1 of the renovation was a complete strip out of the upper level, and new build downstairs to make a two level home. Shane and his team offer a high level of personalised service, their attention to detail is first class, and the team and all contractors were always respectful, approachable and professional. Coming from a design background, I wanted to be involved in the building process. I was always consulted regarding any changes which needed to be made and Shane always responded to any questions I had. We have just completed Stage 2, which was a deck, garages and fences, and once again the process was seamless, with the same high quality finish. Shane and the team are very well organised, with quality workmanship throughout and attention to detail. The process has been extremely enjoyable and I am thrilled with the outcome of my home. “The problem we had was to find a landscape builder/gardener who was willing to help us create something special. After much research we came across Matt Larder from MGL Building and Landscape. After discussing our ideas, Matt was able to enhance these concepts to fit not only the current architecture of our home but also to work within a budget. After initial discussions, Matt came back to us with a computer drawing of the concept to which we made some minor alterations. Matt then quoted on the project and we accepted. Matt gave us a start and finish date and the project was completed in full and on time. His staff were more than obliging to explain the technicalities of the project if he, personally, were not on site. I think that what really swayed us to use Matt was not the financial side of things but the ability to enhance an idea and make it a reality. After all, good landscaping only enhances the property aesthetically but also financially when it comes to resale. With this in mind I have no hesitation in recommending MGL Building and Landscaping to assist you with any landscaping requirements be it commercial or domestic.”
