“I have a house in west end which was originally a single level 3 bedroom workers cottage. The house was built in underneath 5 years ago and the upper level (original house) was left un touched and rented in its original state. For added income I decided to rent out the lower levels and moved into the upper one. I was struggling with ideas on how to get the original house (over one hundred years old) to blend in and work with the newer, more modern lower levels. I appointed Dani Louis, to initially get ideas on colour schemes, light fittings, kitchen and bathroom layouts etc. Dani, was extremely helpful and full of great ideas. The house has kept some of its original features ie VJ walls etc, but now blends in nicely, mixing old world with new. Dani has tremendous buying power and sources great deals on fittings, fixtures etc and passes on her savings for all items as part of her service, which was amazing because the savings added up to be a lot more than the fee she charged. “Boy am I glad I met Monique from Sartorial Interiors. I had been wanting to refurnish our three bedroom home for about two years and was at a stage of confusion and stress over the ordeal. “Jo provided a full interior design specification for the refurbishment of lift foyers for 21 levels and 12 Villas in a Residential Tower Complex at Kangaroo Point Brisbane. The design included all floor wall and ceiling colour charts, wallpaper, new carpet design for the floors and lift cars and mirrors and prints for the walls of each floor foyer, and new door furniture for all Apartment doors. Jo then managed the actual work including coordinating tradesmen, checking colours, carpet laying, and delivery and hanging of mirrors and prints.”

“Clare Pullen Designs designed a new study for our family last year. We had several requirements for the room: it needed to provide more storage for our household, as well as be able to be used by two household members at the same time. Clare provided us with a mood board to illustrate the colour scheme and a floor plan of cupboards, counter, and other storage elements. She recommended suppliers to help keep our costs down. Her detailed advice guided us as we undertook the renovation ourselves. The final result has provided necessary storage and a room set out to enable both our daughter and her father computer time. The office also looks fantastic with its contrast of white walls and white cupboard doors against the dark wood look of the cupboard shell and flooring. Overall, Clare has an "eye" and an ability to update the look of any room in an economical and practical way. Trust her judgement!”

“Jo came to my rescue when both showers in my holiday home were leaking due to poor workmanship from the builder. Jo managed the whole project so efficiently and kept all the trades moving and me in the loop. Existing tiles had to be removed, new tiles chosen, waterproofing done, then retiling. The job was complicated by tiles no longer available, so she came up with a great idea to make features of the showers using herringbone tiles. They look fantastic! It was a relief to be able to hand the project to Jo and not have to worry about it, knowing it was in good hands. Jo's eye for style is amazing and the finished result looks fantastic.
