Need advice on decorating my bedroom
Comments (51)The bed needs more pillows with texture and patterns. Add black highlights in the accessories. Also get a lamp for the side table and a tray for accessories etc candles, vase. A few accessories for the desk like a hand-shaped jewelry holder etc. The things that will make the room less boring will be a rug with a visually appealing and exciting pattern (not a solid colour), a chair (the more interesting the better) , new bedding will create a focal point and accessories for the side table and desk. Go to freedom or adairs etc and they'll be staff members to help you choose out furniture, accessories, bedding etc. Show them your pictures and speak to them and they'll know how to help....See MoreDecor: adding a touch of masculinity for a bedroom?
Comments (11)I'm not sure if any of the replies are from guys , but allegedly I am one hahaha . Pretty easy really -- pull the duvet back across 3/4 of the bed , with a large hump on a diagonal . Get a couple of wet mismatched towels , and throw them on top of the cover so they can dry out ( saves having to wash them every 2 weeks too ! ) . A couple of large posters of your mans favourite singers/actresses , and one of his favourite car model . Bonus points if the model of car has an actual model draped provocatively across it . In the corner , have a pile of clothes that may need washing in about 3 weeks -- BOTH pairs of jeans , 4 1/2 pairs of socks , all 5 pairs of undies , including the ones that are now lovingly referred to as 'crotchless' , and 7 black T shirts with band names on . In the lounge , a tea towel on the white 'coffee' table will stop the white top getting shoe skid marks on it , and its sad to see only 1 remote there -- you need at least 7 , even if you aren't sure what 5 of them do . . . . . . . . . . Thats a start ....See MoreBedroom decor and upgrade
Comments (4)Solid coloured fabric that either complement the current or contrast. Something that has texture like microfiber sheets and a rich velvet bedcover. If you are going to have it patterned try to get something with rounded lines and not sharp lined patterns as you have enough of that on the wall. Go for light wood furniture like a bamboo colour. Take the clothes off the curtain rod. Hang it on the line....See MoreDecorating help needed for master bedroom
Comments (12)Julie you are a superstar!! I need you to come and decorate my whole house please ☺️ I love those photos with the extra large artwork. I think that will be an easier option than installing wallpaper too. I adore the timber/marble bedsides in your last photo. I’m going to see if I can find something like those. Definitely will be buying some luxe bed linen also. Thanks again for taking the time to send me such great ideas xxx...See MoreLarissa
