Thank you I visited a few stores in Sydney , bo concepts, king furniture , project 82 and finally jimmy possum and decided on the Massimo and Milmo sofa with ottoman from jimmy possum, many reasons, not only because of the impeccable quality of the sofas and the fact it's Austrlaian made, but after visiting the store twice my husband would fall asleep instantly whilst sitting on them, and that to me was the clincher. Very happy with the staff and service from Jimmy Possum located at Moore Park , Sydney. So excited, 8 weeks to go...

From the photos it looks like your Mum already has many lovely pieces. Perhaps you could have a girls' day shopping and choose something together which would have special meaning to her. Or else go for something different and treat her to a day of pampering at a beauty clinic - massage, manicure, pedicure, facial - the list goes on. Olivia, I'm sure she will love whatever you do.

Thanks for response, great website I can see myself wanting to spend too much time on there :) I'm thinking of having a crack myself now as brother in law has a drop saw and said he can give me a hand. If it's a total disaster then I might look to a site like that but probably can't afford it. I was thinking a carpenter could knock it up quickly from scraps rather than an artisan but perhaps too specialised.
