I think it depends on how neat you are in keeping your hanging clothes looking nice. Some walk-in-robes have the aesthetic of a tornado hitting a 2nd hand clothing store. You have three "dead" corners in your proposed walk-through robe which are always tricky to access clothes. For a walk-through robe I would always prefer two opposing rows of built-in cupboards with nice doors and door hardware to avoid any potential mess.
