How about a light grey. I dont think anything dark would be attractive.

Unless you have the money to update everything else to better complement the bricks, painting them will give you a much more updated look. Over the past 18mths I’ve been working on the front and landscape of my current house, including painting the bricks and it has made the world of difference! I’ve attached a before and after photo! Hey Dounia The colour and the way it has been painted is very much what we saw in the late 90's and early 2000's when we all went through the textured paint feature wall craze. But, saying that Paint and design technology have come a long way since then and I would encourage you not to give up on the copper idea and use a modern approach and product. Think of introducing a contrast to the white - black being very contrasting, white not being a contrast and soft grey being somewhere in between (but possibly not quite enough, in which case you may need to go for darker shades of grey) . The analogy might be framing a picture or piece of art- If the canvas is really white, you wouldn't choose a white frame. Or putting on eye makeup- if you choose to put a colour on your lids and don't include eyeliner or mascara, your eyes will lack definition ! What colour is the roof ? Also ,have you chosen the white of the exterior yet because these two factors can help in your decision process.
