If you can't change the purple blinds, try and tie them in with layered cream, beige and chocolate brown bedding. A natural wicker style light fitting with matching side lamps. Above the bed, perhaps a large wicker wreath with a few sprigs of lavender (real or not) threaded throughout. If there's room, a chair painted or covered. With the chair you could choose floral or striped, as long as there's Browns, 'soft mauve' with touches of lemon. At the foot of the bed, you can purchase a cheap polyester doona, cut it in half and dye it the required colour. I've done this and it works well. Your design scheme has a very traditional European feel. I would continue with this and look at a couple of Louis chairs. The link I've attached shows one with a mix of rattan with an upholstered seat cushion. You can also get them with an upholstered back and arms. Have you thought about also adding a couple of scatters cushions to each sofa, in a silk or silk like fabric. Check out Kaz's Samara range. Not sure what colour to recommend as I can't see your wall colour clearly but black goes with most colours. Oskuee's rugs are lovely, just make sure the colour ties in with your colour scheme. As you have plenty of dark timber in the room already, consider a glass and metal coffee table and lamp tables in a gold finish. Gorgeous crystal or mirrored table lamps and an ornate gold framed mirror over either the chairs or the sofa to finish off the room.

Are the white bits blinds ? Do they open to the outside world ? Venetians , wooden venetians , curtains , anything would give those a lift ! Probably each one around 60cm wider than the window , with a natural timber valance ( mounted inside the window frame , as opposed to being part of it ) . Lauren Shiels sugggests dark Navy walls , I'd go more a plum burgundy for the walls , although that would depend on your taste , and the other rooms . Striped cushions in the same plum and gold -- warm colours . A tall leafy plant if you keep the couch where it is , or maybe even if you move it or change it .
