Comments (19)There's a taupe or griege tone in that bench top that you could probably use for splash back colour. I agree, brownish-greys (or greyish-browns) should help. I read article that suggested this, as long as undertones are not too orange, yellow, green or blue. If you're using led lighting, I suggest you go for Neutral white. Cool white (or daylight) will add too much blue and Warm white will bring in yellows and magenta tones. Comments (3)Agree with Tribbletrouble. A handyman may be able to save the day & if you're on Facebook, you can search in local FB groups for handymen recommendations. I recently did something really stupid, resulting in a DIY wardrobe I was building crashing into the bedroom wall with all the screws being torn out. It looked completely irreparable until my wonderful handyman rebuilt it. Comments (53)Yes I agree not to paint or add an faux type treatments as over time they will deteriorate and the bathroom will look tacky. My suggestion would be to hang two large rectangular framed photos. Use a light gold colour for the frame and almost silver looking one but you can just see the gold. Keep the framed photos light and classical, not to busy. On the vanity add a tray the same colour as the photo framed or with a mirrored look.
