With the deck being quite narrow have you considered taking the timber to the edge of the deck and not using a coping stone. This will give you a sleeker more clean lined look. With regard 90 verses 140 decking. We use mainly 140mm now, but with the deck only being 2 metres wide this may look out of place. A lot will depend on your surroundings. If the deck hasn't been started yet I would also suggest that you run your decking the short length, this will draw your eye along the lines and give an illusion of the deck being wider than it is and looking up it not as long. With regard cupping it very much depends on the timber selected and you really need to screw down rather than nail. For almost all of our decking I specify and recommend Accoya for its stability. I am sure that it will be available in Australia.

It’s the wall colour that doesn’t look nice everything else is fine. Repaint the wall it’s easy and you want regret it , use neutral colours but not light go for darker and for the corner I would plant giant bird of paradise either in the huge pot or if possible in the ground but keep it well away from the wall to give it space to grow and give you tropical look and feel. If you are using pots you can have few of them they won’t drop leaves in the pool.

They make whatever you want in whatever size & delivery is only a few dollars for 1 blind or 15. Amazing quality, service & especially price...... & no, l don't have shares! I have a magnesium pool and magnesium is way more expensive than salt. Having said that the maintenance is easier and not as onerous. Added to the cost of pool upkeep are the health benefits and the fact I don’t have to pay for visits to recovery centres or extra massages. It’s also the best way to wind down and get a good nights sleep.
