Hi there! I do love your kitchen and I don't want to put a complete spanner into the works… but I'm not in love with the timber finishes. I can see the timber door frame adjacent to white sliding doors and then the timber capping piece along the top of the cupboards adjacent to the ceiling. However, do I see a stainless steel finish to the kick board below the sink area? To me, the wood is a difficult distraction from your new kitchen and I would like to see it painted over …I can't see the adjoining areas and I understand you have a brick internal wall…. but it seems to ruin the look to me and might be hindering you finding the right combinations of white and make the space seem more limited than it is by creating a border.

so relieved you don't want to spoil a great looking brick home with more render but is there a view from upstairs? when funds allow extending the deck/verandah across the front of the garage would add extra upstairs outdoor space and modify the look of the garage doors and consider painting garage doors and rendered wall in the darkest cement colour (greenish) grey with white eaves and fascias with black gutters and simply pressure wash the driveway to retain the natural concrete colour and add climbing plants to fall down the side of the retaining wall

Hi Tina. This house has Dune on fascias and edge of deck and down pipes. Timber wall is Pebble Grey or it might be grey pebble. It’s a dull day so looks darker. A slightly darker grey to Pebble is Heifer. Both tone well with Dune. If you go to paint shop look them up in the Dulux atlas, ask staff. Not available on sample cards. If you have rough bricks consider getting them bagged before painting. Makes it a bit smoother but still shows mortar lines.
