Comments (8)What a beautiful piece of stone on your island benchtop! We could recommend a subtle and plain splashback for your kitchen. This will allow your stunning island benchtop to be the show stopping piece in the space. If you prefer tiles to glass consider a simple white subway tile laid in a classic horizontal pattern as opposed to herringbone. Good luck and don't forget to share some completed photos with us with its all finished....See MoreKitchen splash back - subway tile grout
Comments (6)I think a dark grey grout would look great, the wider the gap the more the tiles stand out, if it wouldn't cost too much and you had some spare tiles you could do a mock up on a piece of board , sometimes the only way to really gauge things is to actually see it...See MoreKitchen splash back Reflection splashback?
Comments (4)Hi Priya, while Metaline has a place in the market and is excelent for Aluminium Door inset panels for outdoor Kitchens; this material can however be scratched, scuffed, or dented whereas Glass Splashbacks are far more resilient. You may also like to take into consideration what your visible edges will look like once installed, as compared to Glass which are Polished and finished to size. With glass; there is also the added benefit of being able to have Any Colour your heart desires, including Metallics. If you obtain a quote locally to you, using Glass Splashbacks (either supply only or Supply and install) and another for Metaline as Splashbacks ( cut to size and supply only, or Cut, Supply and Install), you should find there is very little difference in cost between the two products. I hope this information helps....See MoreKitchen splash back
Comments (5)You need to consider if you have a gas or electric cooktop. Zenolite can be applied behind a direct heat source with an allowance of 50mm between the rear edge of the cooktop and the face of the Zenolite for all electric induction cooktops. For gas cooktops, there must be a 200mm space. If you are using an electric cooktop then consider the extra expense for Zenolite Hard Coat which is more resistant to scratching, and check how this product pricing compares with glass. Make sure your installer knows how many powerpoint cut-outs are needed when pricing. https://www.allplastics.com.au/architectural-building-plastics/zenolite-splashbacks?gclid=Cj0KCQjwqsHWBRDsARIsALPWMEP75_QMk17Fx3X57ROmj_wiGqY2si9dKbts6CCnW92vn8mtKtv4pjUaAghVEALw_wcB Best of luck with your new kitchen, Dr Retro of Dr Retro House Calls...See Morejbantick
