Bathroom vanity top suggestions
Comments (10)If you want the wall and floor tiles to be the hero in your bathroom I recommend you keep the vanity very simple. The white cabinet you have will be least obtrusive with a 'white' top. I love the elegance of stone and man-made stone is generally more durable. Check out Caesarstone Organic White or Frosty Carina. Although Frosty Carina has more pattern than Organic White, it's quite discrete so shouldn't compete with pattern on the tiles. If the tiles are charcoal or a dark brown/grey then either should work. Love to see a photograph when it's finished, whatever you decide....See MoreSmall bathroom - tile dilemma
Comments (8)To what extent do you plan to tile the walls? Floor to ceiling or just the wet areas (shower/bath section and vanity splash back?). I would personally find full walls in that tile over-powering eg. https://www.houzz.com.au/photos/regents-park-contemporary-bathroom-london-phvw-vp~31719695 I prefer a more restrained use like this where the floor tile is used on one wall to give the illusion of more depth with other walls simple and white https://www.houzz.com.au/photos/wet-room-shower-bathroom-hampshire-phvw-vp~23525132 (Not a professional of any kind but...) Looking at your layout, I would be inclined to go with the feature tile on the floor, the bath hob (sides and surround) and on the long wall running parallel with the bath. The other walls I would tile and/or paint white....See MoreSolving a small bathroom dilemma.
Comments (16)Hi LeslyH. it's such a lovely bathroom I think I could live with that in an ensuite, just have to do what our friend does, shower and then wipe down the bathroom with her towel, another thought is to use pump pack soap as it doesn't seem to have the scum built up like normal soap. Would still replace the mirror with a recessed shaving cabinet and continue the bench top to the wall, lower the the shower head and would have to add an additional wall shower for us girls Just adding a couple of my favorite bathroom ideas. Shower over this bath would be great...See MoreBathroom walk-in shower for minimal splash
Comments (35)the last option with shower and toilet either side of the window and hinged entry door opening towards the laundry cabinet... hinged door is cheaper and offers more privacy and solid core hinged doors will improve sound reduction and the back of a door can support extra towel rack and/or clothes hooks and the tall window needs only be same as top of door height (about 2.1m) and if necessary simple hinged doors on the laundry nook will use the least space and are only open occasionally...See Moreysteb1
