Comments (23)I am not the best person to comment on lights but would a few downlights be the go or one of those integrated heat/fan/light things be best in centre. Also a lot of people have task lighting......so lights just above the mirror for makeup etc. Personally too bright lighting while doing makeup sends me into a spin as I look like i have about a month to live! I hadn't thought of approvals for my proposed window - so thanks for that. Must keep that in mind. My bathroom is very hidden and looks nowhere in particular. It is all looking good. On another note my friend got a heated towel rail and much as I hate wasting power it is fab. Our towels seems to stay dampish in uninsulated BV '60 box in Melbourne. Also i would have a look in bathroom showrooms for some ideas too if you have any handy. Or buy a bathroom specialty magazine. It is going to be so nice this bathroom. What tiles etc?...See MoreWhat do you do to protect your outdoor furniture from the elements?
Comments (20)The timing of this article is perfect! Given the erratic weather lately, shielding outdoor furniture has become a real challenge. While I've experimented with some methods here, I'm still searching for a solution with lasting effects. Do you have any specific product or brand recommendations? A big thank you to @Kevin Carol (https://qr.ae/pyDKpb) for suggesting The Cover Company NZ for outdoor furniture protection. I'm definitely going to explore their offerings. It would be fantastic if you could compare a few similar brands in terms of quality, pricing, and customization. Your insights would be highly valuable....See MoreNeed help furnishing/styling living room
Comments (7)you could have a desk in the corner I presume you have a computer or something like that, and a nice chair , replace the tv unit with something bigger and enclosed so you can hide all the staff you have lying around . Try to get one with lots of drawers it's more practical and it shouldn't be to low , when you're sitting down tv should be straight in your eye sight. Hang most of your artwork on one wall like a gallery wall (behind the to).A large rug would be nice and maybe one side chair or couple footstools for when you have visitors. Table lamp and floor lamp would complete the picture....See MoreWhat to put on the space between entrance and kitchen?
Comments (20)Thanks all for your advice ☺️ Much appreciated! We are still debating whether to keep or remove the shelf unit. The idea of having a small shelf unit with a small pot plant on top (hiding the router as the back of it!🤭) sounds nice as well. If we were to keep a small shelf unit there, as recommended I'd find the one with table height and narrow in depth. As for the colour/material of the side table if we decided to have one, what would you recommend? We have white walls and dark grey carpet. Most pieces of furniture are light beige/white/black, and the dining table (near the wall which is the topic of discussion) has a glass top. I am wondering if something like a tray stand or a narrow (in depth) hall table will suit there. Also as for the colour, while white will brend in with the background wall, black/dark grey aligns with the colour of the carpet - but it may be overpowering.. Would love to hear your thoughts ☺️ And it does seem to be difficult to find a piece of shelf unit for this particular wall and @Jennier, it's amazing that you can build your own piece of furniture! Thanks all for sharing your inspirations....See Moredohraime
