What did you think when you first saw Marsala - Colour Of The Year?
Comments (34)The next time I decorate by a colour of the year will be the first time. Don't hold your breath. I have nothing against this particular colour but it doesn't work with all the things I've collected over the years, and I am not about to discard carpets bought after hard bargaining with dubious merchants in Istanbul or Islamabad because they don't "go" with a paint colour that someone voted "colour of the year." In its place, I think the colour would be quite nice (better than this years choices, certainly). It's just that my place isn't the right place for it....See MoreWhat is the first thing you see in this picture
Comments (61)apparently you have never tried public transport in my hometown. tampa, fl. it is hideous. max I have traveled is about 1.25 hours. worst trip and greatest was the 24 miles from crapo, say crepe o, to cambridge md. I once counted 49 hairpin turns, during that trip. all that on land so flat, you were lucky if it was not underwater....See MoreTruthfully, whats the first thing you see in this livingroom picture?
Comments (46)Since I'm married, I will take Sheldon, have many gifted people in my family and friends, so am used to them. Plus I know he won't get sleazy. Am prepared for him rubbishing my applied science degree, and lack of a Doctorate, as long as he pays for dinner. He can keep his spot....See MoreApartment refresh inspiration needed!
Comments (17)Well the first part is done - we have white walls! Amazing what a coat of paint does. The kitchen will have to wait a bit with us both slammed at work, but at the very least the paint job has made it a far nicer space for guests. We'll update the lighting and paint the kitchen cabinetry and tiles (leaving the benchtops) - still contemplating changing the floors in the kitchen/sitting space as the juxtaposition of cork and carpet is hideous, but we'll see. Thanks again all!...See MoreBlank Canvas Living
