Matching chairs for table?
Comments (9)I also like the provincial chair, although it's a more relaxed country style than the table, which I also love. This is really interesting and is a statement on it's own, obviously it needs chairs so I would suggest a relaxed but formal upholstered chair, something like a all back wihtout arms, with a nice fabric will accentuate the interesting geometry in the table frame. If you were to include chairs like the cross back, they would both fight each other visually as they have different styles and both are timber sections. Busy to look at. You mentioned balck or oak, both are gorgeous, oak can be found almost black as it's so popular. There aresome gorgeous chairs which have a curved side and are upholstered, so they feel like lounge chairs but tuck into a dining table. Coco republic have them, and the style is found replicated almost anywhere you look....See MoreHave you ever used your oven as storage?
Comments (25)My pizza baking stones. I have individual size and one large. I'm afraid they'll break if I put them anywhere else. Most times I leave them in when I'm cooking as they retain the heat, but its not hard to take them out if I need the space. Also, it encourages me to use them more often, they're pretty wonderful things for heating up sandwiches vs frying sandwiches to melt the cheese!. I also use them for bread....See MoreIdeas for round garden
Comments (18)Hi Anne, the smaller hedges are buxus (english box) the taller and also the one in circle is viburnum tinus, and the taller at back is conifer sparten. They were all planted touching each other to form a dense hedge, been in about 5 years, buxus is slow growing but once established it just goes on forever, another good hedge is viburnum 'emerald lustre' a bit more casual than buxus, really fast grower but really lush and beautiful, thank you for your lovely comments Anne....See MoreWhere do I start?
Comments (9)I love that firepit Planted Passion. legendaryflame Im in lower Blue Mountains so not proper heights for rhododendrons. I guess my vision is to have some more shade in summer, spots of colour for bees and birds, a haven to come home to. We would love all of the things you have mentioned. This is our home for the next 20 years, so we have time to work at our own pace, im not sure what the priority should be. id love 1 or 2 maples sitting either side of some lovely stairs going down the middle of where the pigface is. im not sure if maples are tough enough....See Morehanayuki
