with floating floors you need to level the floors first ..have you try self levelling concrete? a bit expensive but it works a charm we did it when we renovated and found a dip in our floors ? easy to use hubby did it himself.

painted glass will be a perfect solution for your dilemma...my parents couldn't afford a solid bathroom door and solved the problem by painting a glass door with a dainty pattern by dabbing the brush rather than using sweeping strokes...paint lasted for many years and never needed redoing and i think a simple couple of coats to cover any missed spots will give an excellent result without any extra preparation than the usual wash and dry the surface and protect against drips

I’m currently removing tape off walls that has been on way too long, paint is coming off everywhere! Any tips on how to reduce the amount of paint removal?! I’m using a hairdryer to warm to tape but doesn’t seem to be helping much. Thanks!
