HELP! What goes with these chairs?
Comments (11)Gorgeous chairs. Do you have a table yet? Can we see some photos of the area? How well lit is the area? What look are you going for? Something bright and fresh or something muted and warm, like the colours posted above. My preference would be for a glass table with chrome legs and lots of white including kitchen cupboards. Charcoal could be too heavy, depending on how you use it, black could give a sharper contrast to define the room. I would add touches of clear yellow too. This would give the rooms a very clean and fresh look. I think those chairs would go very well with today's modern/minimal look which is also why I would keep to lots of white....See MoreNeed help choosing colour for dining chair and bar stool!
Comments (15)My Home Stylist - I really appreciate your feedback. The Noguchi coffee is really nice. I think I'm getting closer to finalising the colours. I've done my research and found these. Do you think they match? Coffee table I did my research and found something similar to the noguchi coffee table but in white (thought it'll suit the white ikea table). It's aFreedom's Stockholm table . Dining Chairs I really love the chairs with timber legs but I've decided that since my apartment will be occasionally rented out I'll stick with a more conservative look. Dark Grey frabic will match my sofa. The steel........ It's similar to one of the photos on houzz. Bar Stool: Now that I have chosen a dark grey/steel leg dining chairs and an oak based coffee table, would a standard white barstool with steel leg still work well with everything else or is it starting to clash? I found some possible but more expensive options if it's starting to clash:...See MoreNothing goes with manor red!!
Comments (23)Yes I agree Oskuee, the darker grey render looks better. There are also taupe coloured renders available in different shades: taupe is a cross between grey and beige, so still has warmth. I'm also in the throes of accenting my red brick, terracotta tiled house (replete with sunburst red pavers!) and rich cream wooden Windows and verandah beams with black to freshen the street appeal, so I feel your pain, Alicia!...See MoreHelp needed fabric vs leather chair for 1917 house
Comments (14)If you have a bit of storage space then consider buying a couple of inexpensive easy wipe stackable chairs (eg ikea) for visiting kids to use. Parents and you can then relax and enjoy the meal without worrying about your upholstery. Alternatively, tie-on seat cushions will give some protection plus a height boost for little ones....See Moregeorgi02
