We have that kind of sheeting in our shower... ( If I am thinking of the same thing) its hard to clean and where the joins are and all over is not easy to clean. It kind of looks a bit tacky and dowdy after a while. Have you considered using mini orb or colourbond? Or even pressed tin for a feature. I've had a shower lined with colourbond and it looked really smart and was so easy to clean. It was a quick easy way to update the shower. It was even curved around the corner for a seamless finish.

Well, I did a trial with a few tiles and then covered them with polyurethane. The trial didn't necessarily go entirely to plan but I was able to establish that PU will be too soft. Epoxy is likely to yellow even indoors, so that leaves me with the following solution: 1. make the tiles thicker (not a big deal) use tile selection and a thicker tile bed to enable a relatively flat surface to be made 3. seal it with a thin polyurethane to protect from mess Thanks for the contributions.

your tile is darker than the one in the first picture isn't it. I think it is a lovely tile, but maybe a bit dark to also go up wall. Have you seen the "forever home" for "two in twelve weeks"....if not, google it....it has either the same or almost identical tile to the one you are thinking about, on the bathroom floor.....i almost decided on it, but thought it may be a bit too grey...at this stage, am thinking of going for a terazzo look tile that has both warm and cool tones in it. Good luck...I am just like you...am scared i will get sick of the look....
