in that case you could stick to the same pattern because it ties in nicely with the existing decor, but any pastel colour would work, maybe a light blue to tie in with the wall or even a pale purple like the attached photo, but perhaps a more paired back pattern like in the first photo I linked. That pattern on rugs at the moment is quite trendy and popping up quite often so I doubt it will be too hard to find what you're looking for :)

Check out some of the plastic type outdoor ones. Nothing like the old days. These are modern and colourful and a little bit spongy underfoot which is really comfortable.
