Play room art... Options and ideas please :-)
Comments (8)Now cute! And love the idea of a 3 x 3 grid!!! I would be fine with just the canvas and no frames. I think they would pop on the wall more being right next to it without a frame changing that effect....See MoreIdeas on art and rug in living room
Comments (26)Tsk tsk... Art at the least is something which resonates with you, for any reason, great Art is a bit different..... Buy a prepared canvas and some colours you like and have at it. Then hang it up on the wall.... I would suggest a large horizontal canvas close to the width of the sofa for that wall....See MoreNeed some art/decor ideas for my dining area and lounge
Comments (14)Hi Ange, Megan from online art gallery, Bluethumb, here. I'm loving the mix of industrial and bohemian pieces you have! I believe that a statement artwork above the dining room table would look great, especially one that balances the two interior styles you have working for you. Here's one by a Bluethumb feature artist I think would perfectly fit with the different aspects of the room, as well as the warm colour palette. https://bluethumb.com.au/brewman/Artwork/summer-landscape-ron-brown The piece is called Summer Landscape by Melbourne artist, Ron Brown. I've mocked it up in situ for you, so you can really visualise it in the space. It measures 120cm by 90cm, so should fit nicely on the wall. I have some alternative ideas for you, also from our feature artists, if that one doesn't appeal: https://bluethumb.com.au/george-hall/Artwork/silent-heat-135-x-90cm-acrylic-painting-on-canvas https://bluethumb.com.au/suebannisterartist/Artwork/the-honey-comb-effect https://bluethumb.com.au/haruyomorita/Artwork/Soul-Portrait-2015-1 https://bluethumb.com.au/bradley-kickett/Artwork/bandee-lakes https://bluethumb.com.au/dinah-wakefield/Artwork/last-light-dinah-wakefield Let me know if you'd like any of these works mocked up! Some ideas for styling would be to keep the space feeling fresh with some plants, perhaps some succulents or native flowers on the dining room table. This would fit perfectly with the trees in Ron Brown's piece! Hope this helps! Megan...See MoreBedroom art work -unisex
Comments (8)Hi Linda, you've chosen the right colours to create a lovely restful space for your bedroom: the blue/green spectrum is the most calming. > If the wall that you would look it when propped up in bed is available, that's the wall to place your new artwork on - where you can easily admire it. > Artwork is a very personal choice but, to maintain a gender neutral (!) and meditative theme, you might like to take a look at our aura collection. This colour variation of our 'lohtse' design would work very well for you, and is available as both a stunning, shadow-casting perspex artwork as shown, or as a canvas print which I think might suit your style better. We produce all our artworks to order in dimensions to suit the space. Our treescapes are another very popular option, particularly if the room doesn't enjoy an outlook that connects you to nature - which has become all the more important for many. This colour version of 'aberfeldy' would again be a great match. Hope that helps - feel free to DM us for more info. We design and produce all our artworks right here in Australia and would love to help if our artworks resonate with you....See More- 8 years ago
