Lamiastrum galeobdolon 'Variegata' - False Lamium is planted around the edges, Lamium maculatum 'Pink Pewter' - Pink Pewter Dead Nettle in the center. Both have a winter hardiness to 0 degrees. They spread to form a mat cover - best to plant them in a contained area.
Thanks! A little research suggests these are well suited to almost any part of the country. Just a couple cautions that they need to "contained". That should be pretty easy, and will enhance their visual appeal as well. :)
