Hi tafruecht,

If you're interested we have a fixture that is similar to what you're looking for. Have a look at our L36 this is a wall mount that you can use along the stairs. Let me know if you have any questions.

Art studio/ music room/library....anything creative...sewing, reading...writing...It is a beautiful serene space where one could spend many a quiet and memorable time. I can just see my cat making a beeline for what he would perceive is open space only to find himself concertinered up against the glass! If I owned this room I would have to have a frosted border about 30cm high all along the bottom of the glass, Whover owns this place is pretty fortunate and I hope they count their blessings.

I've seen some home theatre rooms with tiered seating and it does look very much like a home cinema. But, it obviously means that the room can ONLY be used as a home cinema, so you're stuck if you ever wanted to turn it into a guest bedroom, home office, etc. If you love the experience of going to the movies and you want to replicate that at home, then go with the tiered seating. With your room size, I think you could only have two tiers as you don't want them to be too close to the TV.
