@urj123, Cricky!!! I knew you were going to ask that, after I looked at the sample I had that was full strength ha-ha.....AND I re-read you post and you wrote quite clearly 1/4 strength!!! I will return to the store, AGAIN, ha-ha and ask for 1/4 strength. All jokes aside, I think 1/4 will probably be real nice, as I didn't dislike the full strength but too creamy for the ceiling. My daughter actually painted all her ceilings the same colour as her walls with Hog Bristle but all the experts seem to say that a ceiling should be white or at least traditionally its always been white and I like the look of that too. I won't be back in town until next week but I'll keep in touch when I have the sample in my hand. Hubby and I are hay contractors and are at our most busy time being in tractors for many long hours but we are nearing the end and then I can take a breath and turn my focus back onto the home. Actually have 80mtrs of edging or capping tiles around the veranda to do and then the same amount of concreting to do on the 1.8m wide veranda and then we can get the colourbond roof on the house and during the cooler months, we can start to lay the limestone bricks, so there's plenty to do on the home!!! @ Barbara...Oh dear, dear Barb, always sitting on the fence...ha ha...(my turn to say something that I mean but not really say it so to speak....all in the ha ha!) Don't know how you manage to stay on everybody's side as well as your own...you must have a Diploma in diplomacy girl! I could never do it as well since I am afflicted with "foot IN mouth disease"...(that's everybody else's die-ease,) not mine. I appreciate the ability to voice a different opinio and I respect the ability in others.. I dislike black as a decor accent anywhere. The furthest I will go is Charcoal...now THAT'S an interesting shade for a toilet seat! I've seen all colours in ceramic toilets, even sickly purple- pink and all colours in plastic toilet seats including black...mostly black...well ALL black then..some .with an open space at the front for reasons that should be ovbious. Have not seen one of those since the 1940's though. I recall that in those times most vehicles on the road were also black and when my Dad sent from Nauru Island where he worked for some car paint...all there was - was black. Dark Days those! Why bring them back in tpoilet seats? So, now that we've experienced all colours and some lids with embedded artwork, some of it not really good....why not a charcoal toilet seat? Why has it "gotta be white?" Why, Maybelbridges, do you think you can see if its clean ONLY if it is white? Is that why everybody is painting just about everything white? Tis a puzzlement! Having returned to this poll and given due consideration to all comments....I think I will also sit on the fence..(.opps...seat) and say...weeeellll.....what does it matter what colour as long as it keeps a lid on things? And...for me...I'll opt for something to the left, something you can polish to a high sheen with fragrant O'Cedar and say...gimme a warm wooden one any day above all the rest.

The patterned ones come in a mixed box, as in a mixture of all patterns. You could have all patterns or throw in the plain one with slight marble effect (Hex Carrara Bianco) as in the attached photo from a Beaumont tile brochure. If your room is small you could consider the lighter version which is white and grey - Hex Blend Bianco.

Steam boat..this is when I'm really really lazy.. you'd need to make some chicken stock ..ie add chicken carcasses with a brown onion into a pot of water and cook for 2 hours. Skim all the yucky bits that floats to the top.. then add 1 teaspoon of chicken powder and one of sugar to it..then fish sauce to taste.. the bean vermicelli needs to be soaked in warm water until the soften about 1/2 hour or so.. then it's a matter of chopping up vegies..and prepping seafood..slicing up meat ie beef..pork etc in my case I cheated and bought dumplings to go in with some mushroom and tofu once ready to eat pop the pot/steam boat into the middle of the table and then everyone can cook their own stuff.. or alternatively can blanch the vegies first..cook the meat and dumplings then lastly pop the vermicelli into a strainer and dip it into the soup water until it goes clear..only takes 1-2 mins and then pour soup over each bowl ..garnish with spring onion or coriander and whola dinner is served..
