Our kitchen is a similar size and layout. We have about 3.2 m x 6 m (not counting the butler's pantry, which is another meter or so), and it works well for us. In fact, I find it quite large (mind you, there are only two of us). Sink is in the island, which is similar to yours in size, range is on the wall opposite the sink. Pantry, wall oven and fridge are at the end wall where you have your pantry marked.. The butler's pantry on the opposite end wall so extra storage/space for us. Where I would have concerns is the width being allotted. You've got a benchtop, a corridor between benchtop and island, and then the island - and then you need a corridor between the island and whatever furniture you have in your lounge/dining area. Our area between kitchen backsplash and opposite lounge wall is about 7.6 m; yours seems to be 6.7. If you want decent space between benchtop, island and the nearest piece of furniture in the lounge, you could be struggling a bit. Mark it all out with masking tape or cardboard boxes to see how it looks spatially. That said, I'm no pro, and there will be much better qualified people than me on here to make comments ;)

Ideally you would want 900-1000mm clear space in front of your vanity and for walkways, unfortunately we don't live in an ideal world and have to work with what we have. 700mm would be the absolute minimum width for a walkway to still allow reasonable passage, although I would be reluctant to go this tight. A floating vanity will help the space look larger and storage can be included in a mirrored shaving cabinet or mirror with shallow shelf above the vanity.

It happens because houzz recycles very old posts into the daily feed. It's a totally useless feature of the site and serves only to cover up the fact they are lacking in daily content additions.

I'm a bath girl, love my baths. I took out a drop in bath and replaced it with a 1500 back to wall freestanding & so sorry I went this way. Yes I did sit in it at the showroom but because the drop in is so much lower I was sitting up too high to really test it out. The 1500 is too small to lay and relax plus it's too high. The drop in had arm rests that were perfect for reading. Now I don't know what to do, my builder said I can get a bigger bath 1700 and change it !!! now it's either cough up the extra $$ and replace it or give up the baths
