Paint front door black??
Comments (17)mrjudsonjames - Hardware is from Tradco and they sell through retailers, not direct. You can find them online and they can direct you to where you can look at their products. The cheapest retailer I found was Schotts Emporium. Just before doing my external doors, I changed all the internal doors and kept the existing chrome hardware except for new hinges. This was even though I didn't like them, but I was reluctant to add the expense. Now liking this new hardware on my external doors, I'm exploring getting the same handle on a rose plate and then powder coating my hinges! purplewombat - Thank you for the Bunnings link and the photos you've done! That visual is perfect. I can't quite figure out how to use it myself so might have to give them a call. If you've got any tips that would be great. I wouldn't be adverse to red, but with the green roof and guttering I feel it would be too Christmassy....See Moretraditional home needs replacement of front door, windows and screens

Comments (8)I probably wouldn't paint the garage door as it looks like it is already a colorbond type finish, so the colour you see is baked on during the manufacturing process. If you paint it then it is likely to flake with the movement and flexing of the panels when the door is opened and closed. If you must change the colour of the garage door I would look at getting a new garage door. Frankly I don't see why you would bother going from neutral white to neutral dune, I can't see what you are trying to achieve. I would give it a good clean, and spend some money on landscaping. Maybe some tall post in front of the rendered columns with some tall plants. You have a classic colour scheme, so I would keep with the classic. Comments (7)WOW if you have a view Don't put in side lights. You could go with the maximum look from one door especially in double glazing solid with either black, white, silver depending on the exterior and a door which has a lever handle you'll need a large door handle for it so stylish then. I want to put something similar in my house but a door which opens as a pivotal door not hinged as such. How exciting...See MoreKris Mays
