Hi all

My husband and are are building a new home on a 1.5 acre block. approximately 900m2 of this block is nature covenant and will have large gumtrees etc taking up approximately 200m2 of this. The rest is house and garden. I am planning on planting feature trees hedges etc but would like to have a decent amount of turf. We have sir walter in our current house and while its quite resilient its not the nicest underfoot and is quite expensive (especially when having to buy turf for approximately 1 acre of yard!). Does anyone have suggestions regarding best turf? We will be setting up irrigation throughout the yard. The majority of the turf will be on a North/North easterly section of the block on a slight slope. The property is in the Brisbane area.
