What bedside tables would suit?

Am wanting to replace the bedside tables with bigger ones (with drawers) as we are lacking storage and these old ones are not great! Any ideas on style, colour, size etc?

If you wanted heaps of storage & who doesn't, you could have a pair of tallboys. From the pic you seem to have the space. You of course then look for bedlighting to suit or perhaps add a sml table to one side for a lamp/clock.

i agree some or a lot of bedside units are not designed for storage more just a spot for bibs&bobs.

We have a pair of tallboys and I couldn't survive without them

Here is a couple of pics, you could always keep what you have an add a tallboys to the end of your bed if space permits.

What colour is the shade? If white, then perhaps white side tables but change the handles/knobs to rose gold (if can find). It maybe a bit of a challenge but can you get a sample fabric and take it and the lamp to a furniture store?

I bought a 3 variable size drawer table with the EXTRA pull out shelf to put my cuppa on. Couldn't do without this now. Purchased from Amart. I like everything in the drawers. books and mags in the bottom drawer

Rather than bulky bedside drawers some simple side tables may work best. This would still give a sense of space as you still see the floor below... Here are some affordable options from Adairs and they have a sale at the moment. Definitely mirrored bedside tables with darker wall behind the bed. New ceiling light and pendant light on each side of the bed instead of table lamps.

Two White low boys would be a lot better and because the sit at the same height as bedsides then it would be more in proportion to the room and bed. You might need to change the ceiling light to a chandelier, modern antique would be the go as the lights you have near your bed are quite nice and suits the bed head.

Personally I like the ones you have but I know about storage issues, your room has grey tones so I would go with that if your couldn't find something in white. White always looks clean and it allows you to change the colours in your room, at a later stage without changing your cabinetry. I do like the chest of draws idea suggested by someone above - it was what I had thought of before I saw their photo - the low but wide ones in grey. You have plenty of room for that and it could make your room look wider. For me the eye sore in the room is the ceiling light fixture. Something modern / perhaps glass or a large circular pendant could be perfect.

Hi. The room looks quite clinical so some beautiful wood low boys would add warmth. I have low boys as bedside tables for the storage and for all the things that go on top bedside. They are an art-deco (second hand store find ) walnut and always get remarked on

We have tall boys as well, small 50/60s house = no storage
