New Build. Roof & Exterior Colours Help
Comments (5)for bright and breezy go for pale yellows and oranges - blues & greys are everywhere - or look at light greens You can go with Surfmist for the roof and facias to keep it lighter - I would even do a Zinc roof with this design for a clean, modern minimalist look. Then look at Dulux Tinker Light at half & quarter tones if you want to go into the yellows or try Dulux Fresh Frappe or Misty Moore for the greens ... Try something different. If you have a neutral roof, you can go crazy with colours - and change them more easily whenever you want to update your look. Good Luck! :)...See MoreExterior colour help!
Comments (5)Wow, what a stunning façade design and what a great spot to be building. Your decision to consider COLORBOND® Woodland Grey for roofing, gutter and fascia is a great option. It is modern and grey but throws a warm base it blends beautifully into any natural surround. A mid grey render option is COLORBOND® Windspray which will also reflect the beachside setting of your block. White windows would work however COLORBOND® Surfmist is a more subtle way to get a light window colour without the starkness of a pure white. It also works beautifully with the grey tones of the COLORBOND® Windspray. I would also consider COLORBOND® Surfmist for the garage door to match the windows. Lastly I would tie the roofing colour back in by rendering the porch section in COLORBOND® Woodland Grey. Less colours is better for a façade so if we can use a colour for more than on application like windows and garage door, roof and porch render it looks more cohesive. We hope that helps. Good luck with your beautiful home!...See MoreExterior colour and facade update advice
Comments (10)Maybe paint facials white and put some white cladding in front gable so eye drawn to that not windows not a blue tinged white eg not dulux lexicon but warm white to go with cream blinds eg natural or polar white or grand piano 1/4 strength would also go nicely with woodland Grey and jasper - cb basalt also goes nice with woodland Grey maybe go 1/2 strength on walls as it’s a nice neutral black/Greywhixh would detract from purple tinge...See MoreWhich exterior colours?
Comments (25)We chose Monument Tiles and Guttering with "Surfmist" Fascias and Eaves (varying strength of paint). The Pillars at front were rendered and also "Surfmist" (1/2 strength). The Garage door also Monument - focus is drawn to Pillars and Timber Beam (our home very similar to yours). If you visit the Builders showroom they can usually make these changes on computer so you can see visual of how home would look with colour choices! We have Surfmist aluminium window frames and at front of house White Plantation Shutters. Admittedly we have charcoal colored Bricks but house looks Crisp and Clean it "Pops" as they say. We installed 20 Solar Panels ( no Battery) and Electricity is going into Grid! Dearest bill was $14 and one bill we received $1.92 CREDIT). The panels are on the side of house and cannot be seen from street. Well worth the outlay! I have heated floors in bathrooms and ducted air conditioning and so far we haven't lost power when they were working in street and had cut power to houses!!...See Moregrazz1230
