What is available in either black or stainless steel kitchen sinks which will fit in a benchtop maximum 570 mm? Our existing benchtop cannot be extended to 600mm due to door and brick pillar limitations.
the counter may be 570mm deep but the frame will probably be less deep (shallower?) check with your kitchen cabinet maker as the choice of sink will depend on the cabinets underneath..Facing a similar dilemma for a bathroom sink, we found a stainless steel "bar" sink online and opted for a single round drop in sink that suited us and a random search for "slimline sinks" discovered The Sink Warehouse, Atlantic sink at 1380 long and 480 wide that should fit your space but there should be other option and only the cabinet maker would be sure what will suit, best of luck
Hi MB builders, oklouise and siriuskey, Thanks so much for your advice and recommendations. I have spent the day visiting suppliers of kitchen sinks well equipped with your information and the findings of my online searches. Happy to report I have located a Franke granite two bowl sink which includes the tap hole. Fits perfectly! Thanks everyone for your input. What a great resource! This forum is fantastic for inexperienced homemakers and renovators requiring specific information. Much appreciated
